Dog Fouling

We have been getting some complaints about dog owners not clearing up after their dogs on some of the local footpaths. Is this something other members of the community have experienced and does anyone have any suggestions about what can be done about it?

Green Lane and the Path behind Priory and Hillside, are often littered with Dog mess, perhaps some 'Pick Up after Dog' signs wouldn't go amiss in these areas.
